Our third grade class consists of gifted and high achieving students who are enthusiastic learners and creative thinkers. They are achievers who have set high goals for themselves this year! Being independent readers make them more curious about their environment and capable of exploring beyond the academic areas covered in class. They are developing writers who can write a five-paragraph informational text that many times is lacking in specific details due to the unavailability of sources of information. Our school is a Title 1 school where most students receive free and reduced lunch. Although both staff and parents work hard to raise funds for the school, they don't raise enough money to replace our old computers.
