My students love to dance, learn, laugh, read, help one another, and work hard! My students have dreams of becoming policemen, firefighters, teachers, dads, moms, and doctors! Our school has an enrollment of around 500 students, 94% of who come from low-income households. Our student population is made up of 75% African-American students, 5% Hispanic, 15% white, and 5% other nationalities. Several of my students have ADD/ADHD tendencies and need movement and hands-on activities to engage them fully and for a decent amount of time in learning.
