My preschool students are very enthusiastic learners! They like to learn with hands-on activities that are fun but meaningful for their development. They come from low income households where their parents are attending school or working long hours to make ends meet. Most of them are English learners, some only speak Spanish at home, consequently, they don't have the opportunity to practice at home pre-reading and early math skills learned at school. Listening to stories, scribbling, and engaging them in cooperative play, will give them the opportunity to express their thoughts, be creative, and at the same time gain cognitive and social-emotional skills. The materials that I'm requesting will help them achieve these important skills needed to succeed in kindergarten. Thank you so much for investing in our children's education!!!
