Learning at home, virtually, has been difficult for my young students. During my live Zoom teaching sessions, I have noticed that they are most engaged when they are following me doing a drawing or coloring lesson. I am requesting crayons, markers, and glue sticks to create beautiful art work during distance learning. And a grade book for me to record their progress. My students are completely engaged when they have assignments that require them to cut, color, and glue. I would like them to use these supplies during our ELA, Math, ELD and Science lessons. I feel they will be really excited to have a choice of more crayon colors and to be able to use markers as they create their work.
