I am fortunate to teach fourth grade in beautiful Sandy, Utah. Ninety-plus students visit my classroom each day, ranging in abilities, many needing accommodations and assignment modifications. I need to assist students with many types of learning disabilities. The use of technology to enhance education is effective for many children. Students will improve understanding of the current curriculum, review/reinforcement/practice previous and current concepts, extend knowledge and enrich through engaging practice. Fourth graders in my class will engage in differentiated learning experiences based on their unique needs, experiencing greater success when they are able to use their strengths to work around their challenges.
