These books will be used in class and at home to help their academic progress. They will be building comprehension strategies while reading authentic literature. It will build background knowledge and lead to class discussions. In addition, they will be able to read them at home with their families to support the learning in class. By donating to this project, not only will you help our dual language students improve their target language skills, but you will give them more opportunities to discuss and write about things regarding the culture and heritage of those languages.
