My 9th through 12th grade students learn best by doing and teaching each other. I teach in an urban Title I school in New York. Many of our students receive free/reduced lunch, and most do not have access to technology at home. Many of my students entered high school without an understanding of basic math skills. Using technology not only helps keep them engaged, but also helps them see why mathematics is so important in our world.
