These materials will help my students expand their math skills both independently and in small groups. The children lost a great deal of math during the closing in March due to COVID-19. As teachers, we have to go back to review and reteach some math skills. Many of the materials requested, will allow the children to visualize math concepts. For example, the regrouping mat will assist with understanding how to regroup numbers. Also, the unifix cubes help with addition and subtraction skills. The two-sided counting chips help children with ten frame counting and number relationships.
