My goal is to create lifelong learners and let them know that history is amazing. Students need multiple opportunities to interact with history. I also want them to enjoy reading. Well written books can expose students to the great stories of history. Having access to multiple perspectives will create more rounded students. My goal through supplemental reading is to spark in them the joy of being life long learners and readers. History is not boring. I want them to want to travel and see the places they have learned about in class.
