You will provide my students with the opportunity to experience what it is like to be real author. They already love to write, but by providing them with the resources to create their own books, you are giving them them the unique opportunity to take a journey through the writing process that they have never taken before. They will study the craft of writing nonfiction text in great detail. Then, they will learn how to research, write, and illustrate a book focused on a topic of their choice. I will show them how to edit and revise their writing to create a beautifully published book to share with their classmates and families.
