My kindergarten students live in a low socioeconomic neighborhood in Southern California. Their parents work long hours and make minimum wage just to put food on their tables. Even though these students face hardships at home, they enthusiastically come to school every day. Their excitement shines through their eyes and that motivates me to keep kinder fun. Through art, students are free to express themselves creatively.
