I am an itinerant public elementary school music teacher. Each day I teach at a different school, grade levels vary for different schools according to their needs. For the 2018-19 year season I am teaching Mondays at Van Deene (Piano, Chorus, General Music), Tuesdays at La Salle (General Music, Bucket Drums), Wednesdays and Fridays at Raymond (Violins, Recorders, Chorus, Bucket Drums, Ukulele, General Music), Thursdays at Gardena (Recorders, "Little Kids Rock" Guitars, Chorus). My students come from socio-economically challenged families of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They are always excited to attend the Auditorium(mainly) with their classroom teacher for music lessons. This year as well my students will perform different assemblies for their Parents, school staff and their peers; Winter Holiday, Black History Month, and Spring Concert of Multicultural Heritage and Patriotic content.
