My students are first graders who are learning to manage their time and space. They are at different levels of accomplishing this and I think they would benefit from this skill. I believe that something as simple as their own cubby/ mailbox to put their completed work will help them manage their work. I also want them to have a certain time each day to be able to sharpen their own pencils before they get busy. We are a public school that can't afford a pencil sharpener in each classroom. For sharpened pencils, I need to collect them and take them to our workroom and sharpen pencils during my break times.
