Hunley Park is a Title I school serving North Charleston, South Carolina and Joint Base Charleston. Our library is in GREAT need of books. Unlike most school libraries, our shelves are not even half full. Some shelves have two or three books available. Most of our books are damaged and falling apart. This is not teaching our children to respect literacy and the benefits of a good education. The majority of our students receive free or reduced cost lunch. They cannot afford books to have at home. Please help me provide my students with quality books for them to have at school in our library.
