I am extremely fortunate to teach at Urbana High School, a school known for its commitment to addressing issues of equity and social justice. At UHS we celebrate diversity and the students, staff, and community work together to overcome the challenges that teenagers from diverse backgrounds face. My goals within my classroom are to help my students recognize their full potential, develop self-advocacy skills, and make an effort to improve the world around them.

About my class
