I have a classroom full of energetic and diverse learners. The 25 students have a wide array of abilities and their confidence in their academic abilities is diverse as well. Ours is a public school with over 500 students. It recently was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School as well as being recognized by the state of Arizona as an A+ school of excellence. KTA is a student focused school, always keeping students at the center of all decisions made. Our population is about half free or reduced lunch. We have a very diverse population ethnically, and socially. We draw a large number of students from the apartment complexes and small rental houses in our neighborhood as well as families who choose our school from outside our boundaries.
