I am a teacher at a school where the majority of my students live at the poverty level. I have 31 students in my classroom today. My students are primarily second language learners, and out of my 31 students, I have two that have special needs. There are many challenges that they face on a daily basis in their lives, I work every day to make sure that school is a place where they will feel proud and successful.
