I believe without a doubt that my school library is the heart of my school. I have worked tirelessly to create a library media center that invites students to learn as much as we can with the time we are given. My school is considered a low-income school, 82% of my students qualify for "free or reduced price lunch." I work extremely hard to ensure my students have access to the same types of resources that many students in neighboring, wealthier school districts take for granted.
