Many of our students are from low socio-economic homes where reading materials are limited. There are also many from homes where English is not their first language. Without a home culture of reading, students do not naturally tend to put up a book or other reading materials. However, we can help support them and encourage them to read more through our school reading program. Small incentives and rewards motivate them to read more.
