We have students who have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and/or hearing, visual, verbal, physical impairments. We teach our students vocational, independent living, and functional academic skills. Our primary goal for our students is to provide them with the skills necessary to live and work as independently as possible with the best and happiest quality of life. To do this, we must teach our students the best ways to supplement their particular inabilities. Our students often need help communicating with others, using money and making purchases, traveling safely through the community, and using leisure and recreation time appropriately.

About my class
