My students are amazing! They are my heart. They are kids who have an eagerness to learn and an excitement for all things new. We live in a town with one fast food restaurant, no movie theater, and no mall so there isn't much to do. It's a small town and a small school district, but these kids dream big. They may not have a lot materially, but they have big hopes for the future and the last thing any of us ever want to do is crush these. The students I teach are between the ages of 10-12. They have more distractions at home than most of us could ever imagine! However, when they come to school, they leave that behind. I want the world for these kids because they deserve it!
