I am lucky to work in a school with so many talented students (approx. 700). We are a public elementary school in a dangerous neighborhood. Many of my students know a limited world comprised of a 4 block radius around their house and our school. However, through art I can explore the world with my students and open their eyes and minds to different ideas and ways of expression themselves.You can help our students express their imagination, through a donation of Scholastic Art magazine. This incredible magazine will expose my students to art history and also help them with language arts skills.
