The enrichment center will be designed to offer my students differentiated learning alternatives as an extension of the core unit of instruction. The center would typically be used after the presentation of important materials or concepts. This will provide students with opportunities to enrich and enhance their appreciation and understanding of the topics through individual and small group experience. The enrichment center would contain a laptop computer and a music player for research and culminating activities. My students use iPads in the classroom; however, iPads do not support flash. By having full use of a computer in the class, it will enable my students to thoroughly research topics presented throughout the day. Also, the enrichment center would contain a music player with headphones so that students could listen to informational audio books based upon the content of study.
