For my students to have the experience of coding will benefit them in terms of problem solving, trial and error, and building on those critical thinking skills. These materials are a great way for students to work collaboratively and understand how technology works and how to keep on trying to see how the end product will change. The Ollie and Sphero teach kids about programming and the importance of math concepts, both are able to be programmed to do different things. The Ollie is able to be driven with commands, and the Sphero is an app-enabled ball that lets you play, learn and explore. Using this device will push my students to effective become critical thinkers. Students will be able to compete in the world today with all the technology devices that are given. These devices will open the students' experiences and bring out the love of learning even more. Please help fund our Coding Fridays.
