I teach a group of 130 enthusiastic 8th graders at a middle school in Arizona. The majority are interested in music, art, and reading--what a fantastic group! These talents, along with their desire to explore new concepts, helps me dig deep into my subject matter and push the boundaries of a normal language arts curriculum. We think critically, write persuasively, debate articulately, and inspire each other on a daily basis!

About my class
