I teach all subjects to 21 wonderful 2nd, and 3rd grade students in a public charter school. Since my time is split between teaching lessons to two grades in my classroom, it is crucial that the materials in my room are kid friendly and jump out to students saying "use me!" My school also focuses on teaching students project work. Project work integrates science and social studies concepts with important life skills such as time management and using different materials to represent learning.
