As a successful Early Childhood School, we provide a nurturing, yet rigorous community of learning. Over 90% of our Grade 3 students performed at Level 3 or Above on the New York State English Language Arts and Math Assessments - reflecting continued strong performance even against higher testing standards. Our commitment to differentiated instruction supports students of all ability levels in every classroom by integrating: ● English Language Learners (ELL students) ● ● English as a Second Language (ESL students) ● ● Students with Special Needs ● ● General Education students ● Our community is quite international with almost 70% of our students coming from homes where English is spoken as a second language. One-fifth of our students receive extra support for learning English. We also provide communication materials to Parents in 4 home languages (English, Chinese, Spanish & Korean). We are a Title I, NYC Public School - nearly 60% of students qualify for free / reduced lunch.
