Students need unique and thought provoking activates that encourage broad thinking, interaction with others, and social skills. The games I requested are to enhance reading and math activities. Taboo For Kids, Gestures will be used to engage student in activities such as making connections to vocabulary and unfamiliar words. These games allows students to use context clues (the gestures or the vocabulary in Taboo) to figure out what word is being illustrated. Lastly, the Four In a Row game will be used for math drills. I will tape math facts to each piece, before the student is allowed to drop the piece, they must answer the math fact( addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division) correctly.
