Students range from preK to 4th grade at this school and have communication disorders ranging from mild to severe. The majority of my students have speech sound disorders (articulation), fluency (stuttering) disorders, or are language impaired. My preK students have developmental delays, autism, and even some with genetic disorders. Many of them are non-verbal and cannot express their basic wants and needs. All of my students have some type of communication need that affects how they interact with others socially and academically.
