Teaching students about sound and lighting equipment at an early age is also an important part of 21st Century and global learning. Because literacy plays a vital role in education, "Spotlight On Literacy" will offer students the chance to continue with reading in music class using scripts, monologues, and musical songs that are connected to the reading curriculum in their regular classroom. Students will use this requested Lavalier System with CVL Lavalier Microphone and Lighting Package as they journey through musical productions, reading, memorizing scripts, and writing about their on-stage theatrical experiences. This project will give students who have never seen or touched sound and lighting equipment the opportunity to * Use the equipment on stage * Set up and break down microphones * Setup and break down lighting equipment * EQ microphones on a mixing soundboard * Set up stage light scenes and cues with a lighting board We at GES think that it is important to build the self-esteem and self-worth of all students and by affording them the opportunity to shine through theatrical experiences, we will accomplish our goals.
