I teach at a title I school where the majority of our students are from low income, minority backgrounds. Most do not have the means to extend their learning by going to camps or museums. They are hard working, curious, and eager learners. The school they attend, like many others, does not have the financial means to purchase much of the necessary equipment to enhance their understanding of scientific concepts.
