My students need access to tech tools like the Kindle Fire to access online resources. Kindles are reliable, portable, and student friendly. They are an extremely versatile tool for the classroom. We currently have 3 Kindles and they are used on a daily basis. When a student wants a Kindle to use for class and all are being used, disappointment fills their face. Technology in the hands of students is priceless. Unfortunately, we have limited use of technology in our classroom. Having more Kindles with cases will allow for most students to have access to a piece of technology for classroom use. This will give more options for classroom activities and more opportunities for collaboration.
