My students are amazing! They attend a public school in a very big city. The majority come from low income families. The neighborhood is changing and not for the better. These kids still come to school and try their best even though they are dealing with family problems and safety issues I never had to worry about. We do not get many resources in the public school and classrooms are very crowded. I teach five 8th grade classes with about 35 students in each class.
