At my school, we have a wonderful mix of ethnicity's which makes for a unique art studio dynamic. Most of my students enter high school with very little experience in the arts and the misconception that drawing and painting cannot be learned. After proving to them that all they needed was to build on their observational skills and to draw "what they see and not what they know" they end up becoming hooked on art and the creative process.
