The majority of our students are below the poverty level. Our library, art, and photography students would like to work together to create a series of large, colorful posters to encourage reading on our campus. Individual expressive portraits of many different students on our campus will be created. Each poster will show a student and an enlarged, full color book that they have enjoyed reading and would like to recommend to their peers. Text will be added as well as artistic manipulations in computer programs. These posters will be hung throughout classrooms, offices, computer labs and the library, as well as other public areas.

About my class
