Having the basics in the classroom create the structure and support students need to access both their higher-order thinking skills and their creativity. The binders and dividers will help students stay organized, and have better access to their notes and resources. The calculators will help students work through more complex math problems, which in turn will deepen their critical thinking and build self-confidence. Many underserved students struggle to transition from middle school math to high school algebra. They get tripped up with arithmetic, which leads to frustration and disengagement. Calculators are a great tool to help mitigate that. Please support my students to help them reach their full potential!
