I teach at a public charter school in Detroit. There are 26 learners in my classroom and the majority of them are English language learners. We are a full-inclusion school, which means that all students are taught in the classroom, regardless of their disabilities or advantages. We engage in differentiated activities to support the learning of all of our students. We are 100% free lunch, so many students don't have all of their needs met on a daily basis. All of my students are excited to learn, but some need a little motivation to get them going! Despite the many challenges my students face, all of my students are excited to learn, but some need a little motivation to get them going! They are excited and enthusiastic about learning and their progress. I believe that every student is capable of achieving success and that they deserve the best education.
