My students are students who have been diagnosed with Intellectual Impairments as well as Emotional Delays. They are a group of well deserving kids from the inner city. They often struggle to get their school supplies for the year, getting clean clothes and actually getting to school but you wouldn't know it seeing the impact they have had on their school peers and teachers. They are provided with grade level curriculum however due to their disability, that curriculum is too difficult and only shows them what they can't do and not what they can do.
