My 25 first graders are students at VOICE Charter School in Long Island City, Queens. Our school helps students foster critical thinking skills, and a love of learning through our choral singing program and rigorous academic curriculum. My students are as diverse as the mail you receive everyday. The students come from diverse homes, countries, economic backgrounds, and all share their amazing abilities and talents.
