My students are great students who often get overlooked in a challenging school environment. Most of them have only been in the country for a few years, however, their tenacity to learn is overwhelming. Unfortunately, since our school does not have a library, many of them lose an interest in reading when they reach higher reading levels. This is due to the fact that our school does not have many complex text. Therefore, many of these kids are stuck re-reading easier books.
