My students are mostly special education, emotionally disturbed students that have zero after school activities to look forward to. These students attend a school where no other schools wanted them, mostly because of their emotional disabilities. My students love sports, especially basketball. These students cannot play basketball after-school because the district wont allow it. This year we found a basketball league that can play during the school day. My principal is on board, the teachers are on board, the students are definitely on board, but we have no money! We don't have equipment, funding, and uniforms either. The district is more worried about how they behave and their test results and not about their interests. We need help from you! Our special students will appreciate it so much.
