Imagine walking into a classroom where you are greated with a giant Mr. T cut out, a SPAM costume, numerous pictures of Frida Kahlo and books everywhere... Welcome to 6th grade English and Ancient History at Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School & Performing Arts/STE[+a]M Magnets. This is my first year at Bancroft and I am teaching 6th grade Ancient History. My students are beyond excited to mummify a chicken and they love hands on activities. This is a diverse school in the heart of Hollywood, California my classroom is a creative, unique place that accepts and encourages all humans to be themselves. Our role models are Mr. T, Mr. Rogers and Frida Kahlo. We value kindness and creativity. I have the highest expectations of myself and my students
