This year I have just 19 first grade students! They are highly motivated and ready to learn in an interactive classroom! Our school is located in the southern part of the Salt Lake City Valley. Our teachers, parents, and staff cooperate to see that our school maintains a high standard of academic excellence, and a learning environment, which fosters academic growth. Together with our school district, we have adopted a "growth mindset" preparing ALL of our students to be college and career ready! Most of my students are tech-savvy having Internet and computer based, or smart devices at home, or in their backpack! I know that implementing the use of iPads into our daily learning experiences will create enthusiastic learners, engage students in their learning, and will also help prepare students for the challenges of a global society!

About my class
