School textbooks and book rooms are filled with tired titles that are not only dated but uninspiring to today's youth. In a world with technology that has yet to be created, it is important classrooms of today mirror grasp students' interests. The novels I have selected Feed by MT Anderson and Wonder by RJ Palacio will help tantalize my students' interests centered around technology and the medical fields. These books will get my students thinking about the technological world we live in, advocate for self and others, and foster critical thought in order to prepare them to be movers, shakers, and doers! As Medical Magnet students, these amazing best selling titles will serve as our inspiration behind our research, problem solving, and class discussions. These books will not just be items in our classroom; they are going to grow our worlds, helping us become ready to tackle the medical and health sciences later!
