I teach Kindergarten (16 students in my class) in a Title I school where over half of them are English Language Learners. My students are very curious and they enjoy learning new concepts. During small group/learning stations, I have observed that they enjoy activities that reinforce their learning. I have found anchor charts to be very beneficial to all my Kindergarten students as it helps them retain the information they have learned and they can refer back to specific charts as a useful resource. As I observe my students applying what they have learned throughout the year I can see the excitement on their faces and their willingness to share their learning with others.
