I am teaching at at a title one, Charleston County middle school, where greater than 80% of the students are on free or reduced lunch. The kids are simply wonderful children who want to learn. However, they lack the necessary resources to help them visualize difficult concepts. They already have hurdles to overcome in life and I believe if I can make the learning process a bit easier, then it will lead to success, possibly influencing some young minds about the value of education and the impact of science in the future.

About my class
