I have a class of 38 first grade students who are eager to learn and love school. My students are unique because they are in a dual language program. They are learning English and Spanish simultaneously! My class is a mix of native Spanish speakers and native English speakers and a few students who speak other languages at home- We are truly diverse. Our school is a Title 1 school meaning that many students come from low-income families. Although my students face many challenges, they are always happy and excited to be at school. I want them to continue to learn and enjoy school!
