Pop It Fidget toys will be used for our PBIS behavior plan which effectively teaches appropriate behavior to all children. This plan decreases discipline problems and increases instructional time which improves student achievement. These fidget toys will not only help our behavior plan, but they can also be used to relieve anxiety and stress for children who struggle with maintaining focus. Students will be able to shop at "PAWmart" with the Lion Loot (paper money) they receive from teachers and staff around the campus when following the PBIS expectations. The items they can purchase are displayed in a glass case which makes the students excited to shop. We already have a variety of small items that can be purchased but we feel the learners will be more motivated to purchase a Pop It. Helping to supply PAWmart with Pop It Fidget toys will encourage students to continue to make better choices and reward students who continuously have positive behavior.
