I am requesting snacks such as crackers, fruit snacks, and cereal bars to provide my students with food to eat when they don't have an adequate lunch. Many of my students come from low-income households so resources are often limited. Sometimes, students may only have a piece of fruit or a drink for lunch. I know that alone will not fill them up or satisfy their hunger. If my students are hungry, they will not be focused or able to concentrate on learning. They need food to power them through a busy afternoon of learning. With your help, students that don't have enough food for lunch will receive additional snacks to keep them energized and alert throughout the afternoon. Again, I believe in my students and I will do whatever I can to help them achieve!
