What would you do if your child showed up to the first day of basketball practice and his/her coach walked in with only 3 rubber basketballs? I am that coach! I teach 4th-6th grade science at Explore Charter School in a high-need community of Brooklyn, New York. Along with PE teacher Mr. McDonald, we have taken on the 7th and 8th grade girls' and boys' basketball team to give our students the opportunity to excel in sports.
